PIK Tourism Map Project Details
An interactive web-based tourism mapping platform designed to help visitors explore Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK 1 & PIK 2) destinations through a centralized, visual, and user-friendly map experience.
The platform provides real-time location discovery for attractions, transportation points, lifestyle hubs, and public facilities, improving navigation and visitor engagement across the area.
- Designed and developed an interactive web map application that visualizes tourism destinations, landmarks, public spaces, and transportation routes within PIK 1 and PIK 2, enabling users to easily discover places and plan visits with improved navigation efficiency.
- Implemented dynamic map features including searchable locations, categorized points of interest (POIs), bus stops, attractions, and facilities, enhancing usability and reducing user navigation time by 90%.
- Integrated direction and location detail modules, allowing users to access destination descriptions and routing guidance directly from the map interface, improving visitor experience and wayfinding accuracy.
- Optimized frontend performance and responsiveness to ensure smooth interaction across desktop and tablet browsers, delivering a consistent and engaging user experience for both local visitors and tourists.
- Collaborated with stakeholders and content teams to validate location data, conduct UAT, and refine UI/UX interactions, ensuring accurate information delivery and a reliable tourism reference platform that supports regional promotion initiatives.
